Our client’s facility was treated by disinfection fogging by us on Wednesday evening, January 4, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The treatment was ordered in response to a person in the facility testing positive for Covid-19 the prior week. Therefore, the treatment methodology followed approved Covid-19 response procedures, including hazmat suits and equipment to protect the technician from Covid-19 exposure.
The product used to eliminate the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) virus on site was 200 ppm HOCL manufactured by PURUS HOCL LLC. This HOCL Solution is on the EPA List N for eliminating this virus.
Before Treatment: 43,760 ppm
After Treatment: 320 ppm
Conclusion: the disinfection fogging treatment delivered a >99% reduction in bacterial contamination in the ARC Conference Room. This reading meets the hospital standard for disinfection. This data assures that any remaining Covid-19 virus in the facility was also eradicated.
